Sick Iggy

My biggest Iggy, Dr. Forrester, is sick. His neck is incredibly swollen, and he appears to be in pain. I'm waiting to take him to the OSU Vet Hospital at noon (when it opens). I'm currently holding him on my lap while I wait, so I can keep an eye on him. Although it wouldn't matter much to him afterwards, if he dies, I at least want to be able to give him a kiss as he goes. Unfortunately, he does not want to stay still, and it's a bit of a struggle to hold him with just one hand as I type. Unhappy. I was just about to go to bed when I decided to check on all the Iggies and saw that his flap appeared to be stuck down. Was up all night on the computer.

Yet another job possiblity visible -- someone I chat with on IRC knows someone who is hiring C programmers. And it's in Cali. Yummy. Darn it! Being awake makes me hungry much more quickly. I was hoping not to need to eat at all today, but being up watching DrF means that I'll likely need to eat within the hour.

I guess that's all I have to say. There's very little now to do but wait for the next 45 minutes.
