Karmic Shift

What happens when an irresistable force meets an immovable object? One of the actors learns the disappointing fact that it's not all it's cut out to be.

There once was a scientist who was testing an anti-cancer medication. He injected a serum to invoke cancer into one of his cats. He treatedthe cat, and grew attached to it. It finally died of cancer -- hismedication had failed. Alas, cats have nine lives, and this cat cameback.. but it still had cancer. He watched it die again and again, his heart breaking every time, with him desperately trying to cure it.Finally, it's ninth life exhausted, it came to rest for a final time. They found him weeping over the body, siezed with uncontrollableguilt and sadness.

What do these have in common? They both describe a recent event in mylife. My relationship with Debb has fallen apart.
