Two more frustrations knocked out of the way, and a bit more money dropped.I dropped off my bike at BikeTek yesterday, and they're going to fix allthe damage from the accident and from regular wear and tear. Hurrah. Thescab is now almost gone from my elbow, so my body's been doing a decent jobat repairs too. On eBay, I picked up another phone of the exact same, ancientmodel as my current cellphone (Motorola Timeport P8767, which I think is oneof the best designs I've seen on a cellphone), and when it arrives, I can justswap service over. The only other thing I can think of that's not working rightis my vacuum cleaner (although new shoes/pants might be a good idea soon). There's something refreshing about not dealing with broken things, it's kind oflike having a clean apartment (still a work-in-progress for me, but it isprogressing).
Google decided to hand me three more invites to Google Mail, not longafter they handed me another set. I haven't yet found anyone who wants tolay claim to them, so if you know me and want one, drop me a line. I suspect, however, that they're going to open their system to the world soon anyhow, based on the timing of these invites, so don't worry too much.
Oh, here's a funny bit about mayo.
The Trotsky book is indeed excellent. It's hard to choose which of the threebooks I have open when I'm in the mood to read.Still no wireless at home though, which restricts me to writing at work, andprobably makes my blog less interesting than normal. Oh well.
