I finished, for now, the subject management stuff for work. If you're interested, it's available here. It's basically some trivial modifications of some of my BLOG code mixed with other trivially modified code from my lending library management software. The code should be pretty readable, and while it's not the best example of how to do this kind of thing in Perl (I don't check for errors in my database calls, and there are some tables I don't yet use in the database code), it is in a lot of other ways pretty clean. To set it up, all you'll need to do is create a database called subjects, run the sql script in that database, set up mod_perl, and possibly futz with database permissions and settings inside the file. If anyone actually uses it and wants more detailed help getting it set up, let me know.
