Clouds on Other Worlds

Old reassurance: there are clouds on other worlds. Different chemical soup, but winds, acidic substances, fluids that would evaporate immediately on Terra, much variety. Moment.idea: earth's clouds, atmosphere als the poisonous ones, water streams down to break up matter. Toxicity of the flesh, the body, immersed in that alien soup.

Cat inner timers: surprisingly evolved to compete with humans. In masked conflict: scarce attentional resources, monitoring dilemma. A cat, strongly admonished not to eat a human's food, will wait and be surprisingly unpredictable when to make a break for it, grabbing apples, bread, whatever and dashing off. Likewise, to be fair, they may just be trying to escape a snuggle under a blanket.
