It is Labour Day.

Rise up, ye workers from your slumber, rise up, ye grovelers for pay.
The New Enlightenment now thunders, at last ends the slaver's way!
Away with all your superstitions, kneeling masses, arise, arise!
We break now from the old traditions, turn from the dust to win the prize!

So comrades, come rally, and the last fight let us face.
The Internationale unites the human race.

No more deluded by reaction, on tyrants only we'll make war!
The soldiers too will take strike action, they'll break ranks and fight no more!
And if those cannibals keep trying, to sacrifice us to their pride,
They soon shall hear the bullets flying, we'll shoot the generals on our own side.

So comrades, come rally, and the last fight let us face.
The Internationale unites the human race.

We'll tear them from their throned boardrooms, from them lives claimed bought and sold
Self-crowned men with ever-growing privilege, became rich with what they stole
We call an end to those who gain by owning, investors, bankers, and landlords
Face to face with our liberty now growing, those mosquitos meet our swords

So comrades, come rally, and the last fight let us face.
The Internationale unites the human race.
