End of a Revolution

Today, Qaddafi was captured/killed in Sirte. Apparently the NTC claim to be tracking him in the deserts in southern Libya was either a ruse or a mistake.

With any luck, this will let the NTC have full control of the country as they prepare for a transition to their next governmental form.

On another topic, the lack of wisdom in the Israel-Hamas prisoner exchange is really coming out. When the released people (many but not all of whom are dangerous) start trying to kill again, the PR will be vicious; I just hope this isn't a cynical ploy by Netanyahu to show that peace doesn't work and to pursue even more hawklike policy in the future.
