Charlie Hebdo

I just looked into the satirical French magazine that had its offices firebombed a few days ago (I think I mentioned it a few blog posts back); I think it's unfortunate that people living in western countries hold values sufficiently nonwestern that they'd do such a thing, but I'm a little bit surprised that this relatively mild depiction of Mohammad inspired the attack. I am glad that they reprinted it; until we can ensure and trust that faith is not above criticism and parody, it is a worthwhile thing to press these boundaries.
