The Release of Being Terrible

One of my favourite things to do with family is badminton - I have a lot of happy memories of setting up the net and gathering as many of us happened to be around for batting the (often-disintegrating) shuttlecock across the net. One of the things that helped keep it fun was that none of us were very competitive, most of us were terrible at it, and we didn't particularly mind losing our dignity in the game. I wish more people approached games this way. I guess I'm reminded of this because a lot of people are doing Easter today.
